At Mountain Dogs, our daycare program is more than just a place to leave your dog for the day. It’s a vibrant community where dogs can play, socialize, and enjoy a variety of activities under the supervision of our experienced and loving staff. We ensure that each dog has a great time while staying safe and well-cared for.

- Supervised Play: Our trained staff provides constant supervision to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all dogs. Dogs are split into playgroups according to size and temperament. We have supervised, co-mingled and individual play, from 8am-11am and again from 2pm to 6pm.
- Socialization: Dogs have the opportunity to interact with other dogs and humans, helping them to develop good social skills and make new friends. Our skilled trainers handle dogs with leads and work on basic manners like barrier control, sitting, and loose leash walking.
- Exercise: With plenty of space to run and play, your dog will get the physical activity they need to stay healthy and happy. Our 5000sq ft facility features two indoor yards and two outdoor yards.
- Mental Stimulation: Engaging activities keep your dog’s mind active and stimulated throughout the day.
- Rest: Dogs will nap in kennels for 3 hours a day from 11am-2pm to rehydrate, rest their joints, and gear up for another several hours of play. We play soothing reggae throughout the facility with warm lighting and skylights to encourage a relaxing and calm environment.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Our yard features concrete and astroturf to help keep your pet’s paws clean and dogs are supervised in the yard at all times. We serve dogs who do not want to co-mingle and dogs who do want group play. In the co-mingled areas of the facility, dogs are together in a shared space and all dogs are free to roam and play in the multiple play yards during the day. Dogs are kenneled separately at night or when not directly supervised. Dogs who are not co-mingling will receive one-on-one play.
To request a place for your dog(s) in Daycare/Boarding, we require the following at least 24 hours prior to your visit.
- A copy of your dog(s) vaccination record showing the dog’s name, owners name and veterinary clinic name (email to info@mountaindoglife.com) or upload to Paw Partner.
- Completed Daycare/Boarding Agreement on Paw Partner.
- For new dogs we may ask for a 45 minute “Meet & Greet” (free) to determine their suitability to our facility.
- Male dogs over 6 months must be neutered. We prefer female dogs over 6 months be spayed, un-spayed females between 6 & 12 months will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- All collars are removed upon arrival and returned at departure.
- Dogs must be leashed and under control when with their owners at all times.
- All dogs in boarding must be able to be crated for their protection overnight and during quiet time.
- All overnight dogs are let out at night at least one time.
- Our kennel is monitored 24/7 by security cameras.
- For dogs in boarding, you must provide enough food for your dog for their entire stay or you will be given options for purchase if your dog does not have enough food.
- Some dogs do better in boarding with a night time comfort item. Consider bringing a small dog bed, or blanket or an article of clothing with your scent for kennel time. Mountain Dogs is not responsible for items damaged by your dog.
All dogs in our care are required to be up-to-date on the following five (5) vaccinations.
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- Distemper*
- Canine parvovirus (CPV)*
- Leptospirosis*
